if you are buying a BGE and not sure which size, XL....I have a L and XL. The XL is by far the best.

XL + AR/Woo2 for the win. There is very little that cannot be cooked with that combo.A poor widows son.

Its not about size. Its about how you use it.
Love my XL and love my Medium. Wouldn't want to be without either.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I love my XL too, but I am with Ozzie_Isaac in that a medium or small for those week day cooks or sides would be a nice addition.
@coooltroy, Papa Murphy's taste even better on the egg then in the oven. don't they?XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo. -
@Ladeback69 sure does! I haven't cooked a pizza in the oven since I got my first egg!
-
I love my XL, I do want to add a Mini Max to just cook for 2-3 people.

Yep, if I could have only one cooker, it would be my XL. Nice addition.They/Them

@DMW seal of approval, consider it gospel!
Really, I bought my Large because I was going to be lifting it alone to transport, but I have found in short order the XL is significantly more versatile and holds a lower temperature for smoking better than the L. My Large, 10 hour smoke, controller set to 225... couldn't stay there, it was pretty much 245 the whole cook with the fan not running after the first few hours. -
Great looking grub and I completely agree. XL>>>allXL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

I like my XL better than my medium; my limited selection puts XL as the best size egg.
