Just been confirmed in a new job so I am taking vacations in Cuba next week
I foresee a replenished stock of Cohiba (real ones) in a near future. ____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli -

Congrats. I think I'm gonna pour another couple fingers in honor of your good fortune! Cheers my friend! -
I guessed this thread was sous vide sticks before clicking and seeing all the cigars :-) any pipe smokers? My Grandpa smoked a pipe and whenever I smell pipe tobacco memories of childhood flood in. I got one of his old pipes after he passed, smoke it once a year.“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Yes sir, I partake of both. My grandfather smoked pipes, cigars a chewed plug. I picked up 2 of them and the pipe really reminds me of him as well. Here is one of the 4 I have.Hans61 said:I guessed this thread was sous vide sticks before clicking and seeing all the cigars :-) any pipe smokers? Hate to say it, but I was thinking the same in looking at these. I have an easy trick for detecting fake Cubans: If I can afford a box, they're fake!tonyled said:Little Steven said:Picked these up in Cuba for a recent fishing trip

Is this table from Costco? I think it's the same one I am considering picking up. Impressions? -
It's a Meadowcraft 3' square bar height table. Made in Wadley Alabama. I like it, but I like the counter height table even better. Easier to get in and out of the lower stools. Although, the height is nice for standing around and socializing at parties.GrateEggspectations said:pgprescott said:

Thanks. Looks nice. And best of all, it looks like any errant cigar ash would fall right through.

That's one nice feature of the mesh top wrought iron furniture. Wind and rain go right through the mesh.GrateEggspectations said:Thanks. Looks nice. And best of all, it looks like any errant cigar ash would fall right through. -
@GrateEggspectations I don't have the Costco mesh table but I have the matching chairs. I would definitely buy the chairs again. After 4 years, some of them are starting to show signs of rust but nothing that a quick touch up can't fix. The fact that the rain or water after getting out of the pool just goes through the mesh is a major benefit. They are surprisingly comfortable.____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli

Thanks. I'll take that under advisement, as they look really good.paqman said:@GrateEggspectations I don't have the Costco mesh table but I have the matching chairs. @pgprescott As you no, I don't smoak them myself. I do enjoy this thread from time to time. Your response was spot on. Smokem brother.pgprescott said:Thanks @berndcrisp! I know not as cool as say socks or brake pads.

Thanks Robin. I kinda think he has been hit with some personal issues that caused such a reaction. I know it's not good for me, but neither is my whiskey drinking. I do enjoy them both though. Cheers!northGAcock said:

I know smoking cigars and drinking whiskey isn't good for me, but so is red meat and to many carbs. I smoke, drink and eat in moderation so it can't be that bad. I also like to enjoy life so smoke on I say. I really like this thread and I guess now Facebook has made all cigar sites secret groups now. You won't see them on your normal postings on your page.pgprescott said:
