Sucks about the wrapper on that Fuente. Recently had a batch of MUWAT's that unraveled at the cap, drives me nuts when a stick does that.Ladeback69 said:Smoking a Arturo Fuente Grande Reserve after smoking some spare and pork butts are on the egg.

Might be a bit dry. I would keep them in the humidor a bit and make sure the humidity is up there. Just makes them a pita to smoke.NCSmoky said:

That cigar has been my humidor since maybe 1998. It was a great smoke even through the wrapper came off.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo. -

I still have a few that about that old left. I pull one out once in a while. If they are kept at the right temp and humidity you can keep them for a long time.pgprescott said:

I like! This was a sample given to me. It was a small batch limited edition. I will be investing in a bottle or two. Enjoy!Ladeback69 said:

To me, yes. I have 4 pipes that I like to smoke once and a while. Nice pipe, by the way.GATraveller said:Does this count? New Bones Sportsman from Morgan Pipes with a bowl of Mississippi River pressed Virginia.

I tired some of the cheaper 4 Roses and found it good, but like Tin Cup and Buffalo Trace better.pgprescott said:

Some throw in sticks by Placencia with some Maccallan 12

Went into my Coolidor to check hygrometer. Boxes of Oliva's, Padron, RP, Victor Sinclair, Alec Bradley, some CAO, Fuente...and I gave 'em up a few years ago! Seems to put a smile on my stogie skin friends though. Thought I'd share a pic, they sure smell good.

New one for me. Gurhka European selection. Quite nice. Well constructed. A little Balvenie double wood to boot.
