Nice afternoon with a Fuente and Lagavulin. Cheers!
  • @pgprescott: Looks like a great combo right there.

Still a little cold for cigars in my area. However, I just picked up another box of Olivia V Melanios and my humidor is busting at the seams. This will be a good summer.

You will love them. I got a box of ten and turned around and reordered after smoking one. Great cigar. Enjoy! 65 degrees today, wooohooo!

I try to arrange this regularly, but life gets in the way sometimes. My kids are older now, so I have pretty ample opportunity. Cheers!

I get a lot of great suggestions from your posts Jeff. How’s that one stack up?

Very good smoke. I would consider it a after dinner smoke. Big flavors and high nicotine. Definitely worth the money. Spent under $5 per stick. For a smaller cigar it still burned for 1.5 hours. Have become a big fan of all the Roma Craft lines. High quality boutique cigars at a very reasonable price.

Sound great. I’ll give em a whirl. I really like that size and style cigar for week days. Thanks for sharing.

Ain’t my first rodeo... this is my second box within a few short months.   =)  Great cigar.

Only 40F in my area at present. I am very jealous of your temps.

My bro-in-law has a beautifully furnished indoor cigar room. Cigar fridge. 75 inch screen. Premium vintage speakers. Ventilation. Ice machine. Granite bar. Some people know how to live. I’ll have to snap a pic for this thread the next time I get the chance.

Hell yeah. That sounds like a dream! Please share the dream if possible. Better temps ahead.

Looks like a great way to spend an afternoon. With respect to the Lagavulin - have had the 16
on many occasions (have a bottle on the go now), but have never had, nor seen the 8. How does it compare?

It is Lagavulin, no doubt, but as you would expect quite muted in comparison. More like smelling the peat VS tasting a mouthful. It’s a nice drinker though.

The 16 is pretty peaty, so I imagine the 8 can be a nice and mild alternative in some circumstances. Likely cheaper too! The 16 runs about $110 CAD plus tax or so for me.

Have a glass for me.  :)

Punch and some Pikesville rye. Cheers!
  • Smoked an Olive V Melanio Robusto Sunday but never got a pic. Temps are starting to become reasonable for such pursuits.
