t we had some friends over from church for a pizza cook, made several pies and 2 Stromboli to go with it. Ended up having 6 pies total. Everything done on the egg. Cooked the pies at 650.

Obviously this was a low carb night.

@LKNEgg it's just a few min then I turn them and anothe few min I'm guess 5-6 min per pie. I go ps legs down then cooking grid then bricks then pizza stone. I let my egg settle in for about 45 minutes before I start cooking.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Really impressive! At 650 I would have expected a little burnt crust at the bottom. What flour did you use?

@bgebrent they loved the pizza and couldn't believe how much fun it was to cook. I think they may end up with an egg.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

@EggDan wife uses her mix of bread and ap. there is no sugar to speak of in her recipe( thus the no burn I'm guessing). She buys all of he stuff in bulk from the Amish markets near us.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Thanks @paqman, everyone had a blast helping with the cook. The best thing about the egg is it helps promote social events, everyone like to "sample" the food.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

great looking Za & Strombs . . . esp like the cheese browning. I always found that very difficult to brown the top when making BGE pizza. Sometimes I would get the bottow crust perfect on the EGG, then bring it in to the oven, top rack, broiler for the top browning. Nice cook.Columbus, OH
