Sausage Trifecta

Options
I stopped at a fantastic sausage making outfit close to work and picked up an assortment for tonight's late summer feast. They distribute to a lot of high end restaurants in Milwaukee/Chicago area so I knew they would be good. Pork bratwurst, Italian sausage and chili cheddar brats....along with roasted potatoes with olive oil and herbs from the garden.  My daughter's 10th birthday tomorrow so we finished off the meal with her creative jello dessert  =)

Ha! I think the 4th graders will love it tomorrow....jello base, whipped cream, sprinkles, cherry and umbrella. Could probably add vodka to a grown up version  ;)

I was thinking the same thing re: the adult version, might need to mix a few of those up for our party next weekend, the adult version that is.

You had me all the way!  Put the umbrella in an adult beverage (read bourbon) and I'll move in next door.  Strong work!

Nah, it's the new thing for a guy to tuck those umbrella's behind his ear.  Give it a try at the next party.

@wanasmoke - that is some nicely presented grub right there.  Nailed it.

I did parboil first for about 10 min - still somewhat firm. Then high heat with the oil and spices. Added herbs right as they started to crisp up.
