Unless I screw this up:
5.34 lbs of Prime Grade "Chateau" tenderloin.
My wife, I mean SWMBO, has 12 of her top leaders in town this week and tonight they are dining at our house.
I'll quick sear these then finish on the egg. did a test run last weekend.
Also serving a Stove Top Clam Bake with clams, mussels, shrimp, potatoes, corn and chorizo.
Surf & Turf like a boss....
I'll try to take finished photos...

Nope, won't work out well, that looks like horse meat. You need to vac seal, quick freeze it, then pack it well with dry ice and ship it to me.

Yeah that will be good and with a little luck your wife's guests will be light eaters .... Good luck man. waiting for the results.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

This is what happens when you eat all your vegetables, say your prayers, and get your homework done early. You get blessed.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -

Bold move, looking for some money shots.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Sadly, I have broken what may be the 1st Commandment of the BGE Forum.
No money shots were taken, therefore, it must have been a dream.
A perfectly cooked, beautiful medium rare from stem to stern, exquisitely presented and OMFG beefy tasting dream.
Served with 2 sauces: Horseradish Cream and Salted Carmel Sauce (from The Girl & The Goat - Chicago cookbook).
The guests were circling from the moment I brought it in from the egg.
Once sliced, stopping to photo-doc my efforts may have created near riot-like conditions. So, because Egg lives matter, I chose to plate and serve.
The reviews were all positive and I may have planted a few "I need one of those BGE's" seeds.
I did not account for the 8-4 ration of men to women so there aren't even any leftovers. And the crowd also consumed a stockpot full of shrimp, clams, mussels, corn and potatoes.
A good time was had by all and only thing better than getting to cook for such an appreciative crowd is the fact that this will be 100% expensed by my wife.
With appetizers, mains, fancy cupcakes, beer & wine, it was about $500.00 all in.
So, I am deeply sorry for the lack of documented evidence and I will now put myself on probation.
BTW, forgot to shut down the Egg vents and she was humming along at 250* at 7:30 this AM.Philly - Kansas City - Houston - Cincinnati - Dallas - Houston - Memphis - Austin - Chicago - Austin
