I agree completely.  The schools are scared to insist on proper English, but until they do, quality job prospects are greatly diminished for young blacks.  It's an unfortunate cycle.

Using your logic, all those dumb hicks with southern accents shouldn't be able to get quality jobs either.

Regardless of race or background, I don't want any kid to have his future career options limited because they can't be understood by the general population.

I respectfully disagree with calling someone dumb because of the circumstances and location of their birth.

Just for the record, some of us dumb, uneducated southerners with heavy accents actually own multiple homes that are paid for and do pretty good for ourselves in the grand scheme of things. Just saying yall, accent doesn't equate to ignorance. If it did, I would be in serious trouble.
@SGH - Scottie, for the record, I defended that woman's accent.  I think she was passionate about the Gators, and while I don't agree with her, I thought the subtitles unfair.  If she was talking about repealing the 14th amendment, I would have opened the gates of ridicule.

I find the pejorative "midget" offensive but, can I ask if you've ever seen a filibuster before?

EDIT:  I looked this guy up and he definitely strikes me as somewhat nutty, and certainly says some crazy thing.  However, I don't think he actually believed the island was going to tip over, and was probably filibustering as @nolaeggheadstated.

Mask about got mine killed last night. He blasted Mikee pretty good. Thankfully Mikee let it die. I think Mask calling Darby the "D" word is what done it.

I have no idea if Darby complained or did the mods just happen to catch it. But either way it will get threads killed quick. Mask got pretty threatening on my cooler thread as well. It started out as a joke but went down hill real fast.

I don't think so. Darby use to be Stike and something happened to his account from what I understand. The other two I have no idea about.

Whilst toying with the FOXesque tribesmen, managed to get some burgers
and stuffed (ground turkey/rice/manzano pepper/onion/garlic) bell peppers working on the Egg.

All in all, a pleasurable and entertaining (Thanks, tribesmen!) afternoon.
