Rum Reviews

I was in South Carolina helping my brother fix up his in-law's new home, and he gave me two bottle of rum

Kill Devil and Shellback spiced rum

Well the Kill Devil is ok if you like the cachaca style, but the Shellback was totally worth the price point, much better than Sailor Jerry or Captain Morgan's.  Also the bottom of the bottle has a compass rose, which can be turned into a working compass or ass tray once the bottle is cut down.  This is not particularly hard to do and I just might...

Shellback has always been a staple here. I am also quite fond of Zaya.  Of the two, Zaya is a darker mix of premium rums aged twelve years, and is too easy to drink OTR. Both are my faves.

I will have to seek out this ZAYA, and put it to the test

I'm not exactly sure what I would do with an ass tray.

If you find it, and don't like it, I will buy the remaining.
