What do you guys use to scoop the ash out of the bottom, below your coals? I have been using a small spade but it can't be the most effective method out there...

+1. Before cooking so I know ashes are cold. Get a small Craftsman with the fine ash filter. Cheap and easy.MRbge said:I bought a $30 shop vac. With the kick ash basket cleanup is so easy. Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table
