Simple sweet turkey Italian sausage over mac and cheese and cheese and cheese and cheese and bacon.

A couple of those velveeta Mac and cheese in the microwave (gasp) and then into a CI skillet with mozzarella, pepper jack, Asiago and bacon bits under the sausage. Let that go a while then moved the sausage to the MM for some color. Plated with black beans and Parmesan.

Simple, boring, good.

You don't really get much from it, which is what I suspected, but what the hell. If your sausage is bleeding grease, it's overcooked.

So you used the microwave cups and then put them in the cast iron while you cooked the sausages? Interesting.

@Scottborasjr Yep. We do that a lot actually. Add extra cheese, seasonings, rub, whatever and throw it on the egg. Gets a little smoke flavor. Wife and kids love it. It's the first thing that's gone; every time.

"Cheese and cheese and cheese and cheese" is never boring. Simple meals are good stuff too.
