Chuck roast Stall?

Options
Im cooking my first chuck roast. It's running @245° and it has stalled at 143 for 2hrs now is this norm for a chuck? I've read some threads mentioning stalls just didn't know for sure. It's for sammies this week so I'm in no hurry as far as when it's done. Thanks for any help.

Any big chunk of fatty meat can and will stall. The lower your cooking temp the longer the stall will last. Hang in there brother, all is well.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

All good-and you need to run to around 210*F for the right texture.  Many wrap at around 160 or so.  Here's a recent thread that may help:

Thank you brother. I try to give sound advice. I don't know if I always succeed or not. But I try my friend.
