Simple Salmon Cook

Options
That tray is actually the lid to an aluminum steam tray. I buy them in bulk at Sam's and use them for drip pans on the BGE.

The sandwich is salmon salad with grilled asparagus, onion, and sweet pickles on rye made with the left overs.

  • Looks great Doc. I was on vacation on a couple of weeks and not on the forum much. Hope you're doing well after surgery.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

Right eye 20/20, left slight less.  Trying to get used to taking reading glasses on and off all the time.

Trying to get used to taking reading glasses on and off all the time.

I don't think that you ever get use to that. It drives me insane. I can't see off with them on and I can't see up close with them off so it's a steady juggling act. Kind of like the Karate Kid but with glasses instead of wax. Glasses on, glasses off. Now to the food. Great looking grub Doc.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

I used to do that too... finally got progressive lenses. Took just a few days to get used to them but now I wear them all day long.

I have worn glasses for 50 years, and bifocals for 20.  It was a lot easier to just put my glasses on in the morning, and take them off at night.
