Checked out the new Bass Pro in Memphis.  It was over the top even for Bass Pro.

kinda pales the EP one, huh? I swear I still get lost in EP just gawking like some rube in a big city, but that place in Memphis probably does that to a lot of people, huh? BTW still have a stiff neck yourself?

Last time I was in that place, it was for a basketball game between my team (Southern Miss) and Memphis back in the early 90's. Damn, I feel old now!

Those MM smokers are sure nice. The price is a little steep now that they have MM on them. You use to be able to get them for about half of what they are now when they were sold under their manufacturers name. We recently got a new Bass Pro over in Theodore. I haven't got to make the trip yet but I'm looking forward to it.

@RRP yeah I went all giggly.  Didn't really have time to stop, but we did any way.  Spent about an hour gawking and taking pictures.

@SGH those smokers looked real nice.  I especially liked the locking mechanism on the stainless one.

The camo one was priced at $8999.  I almost fell over at that.

This is a weird I know, but my last house was a masonic temple.  It was the Algiers police station back in the 1860s.  Buddy Bolden used to play at parties there later on.   This is a recent picture of it, it's a few block from me and near where we're doing brisket camp in Oct.

No, you don't.  At least a couple of hundred lighter whenever I pass by the Altoona, IA BP...each way.   Most times we're spent by the time we roll by Scheels in Coralville.
