1st Meatloaf on egg
Cooked my first meatloaf on the egg yesterday. Super easy and turned out great! Cooked indirect with dome temp at 350-400, used some cherry wood for smoke. Pulled off when IT hit 155. It ends up with a nice smoke ring on all sides. Used a loaf pan lined with plastic wrap to form the loaf. Total cook time was 1 1/2 hrs.

A tip for yous guys....myabe you already know it. Glaze wise, I like to do a mix of ketchup, basaltic vinegar and a dash of your fave hot sauce (mine is Gator Hammock Sauce)LBGE in Northern VA

Looks pretty nice. Try laying some bacon in the loaf pan before the meat goes in.
Last week made a meatloaf and forgot to add the seasoning. Ended up with a 2# hamburger patty overcooked to 150º. (Note to self, in the future no beer while preparing the meal)Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
I love meatloaf on the egg! I normally make a bacon weave because everything needs extra calories. Great looking cook man.1 large BGE, Spartanburg SC

It tasted pretty good, a little salty for me but my friends liked it. Had a good smokey flavor with the cherry wood. I used a recipe I found here from Hogman348 (his recipe -" 1.5 lb chuck, .75 lb Italian sausage, medium onion, fresh cilantro, 6 oz shredded sharp cheddar, 1/2 cup milk, 2 eggs, 1 cup Panko Bread crumbs, tbsp kosher salt, tbsp ground pepper. For the topping I used Onelikearock's: Tbls mustard, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup brown sugar.")
Will add some bacon weave next time!!
Made a great sandwich for lunch today!!
Ended up with a good smoke ring all around.
