OT - New RV! Winnie Brave 26a

My beautiful bride and I just celebrated our 4 year anniversary (dating, not marriage but we don't care. Only been married for a year and a half)  She and I have been talking about getting a RV one day. Well I got a chance at a ridiculous deal on a brand new one and took it! So for her anniversary I got her an RV! We need some people to go travel with now!

It's a retro design from the 1970s Brave.  Iconic brow and all!  I LOVE it. It's just one off enough for me.

This is my competition buddy. He is very excited we won't be sleeping on the ground at the next KCBS Comp!

This is my lovely bride checking out our new ride!!

Started moving in and went camping over the weekend!

We swapped out the shower curtain for something more appropriate!

Now some stock photos so you can see it all cleaned up. I'll take some pictures of ours once my wife is done making it ours!

This couch sold me.. I mean, it's awesome. PERFECT for comp bbq. Or tailgating!

And an extra bed over the main seats!

Thanks for checking it out. And if you have an RV and live anywhere near me... Let's go camping!

Agreed, that retro is right up my alley.

Although with your yard and view, I'm not sure where you could go that would be better.

Sweet rig, alot of character for new.  Hope you get many years of good memories out it.  Was looking at an older Pace Arrow with the 454.

After further self-evaluation, decided that I am a travel trailer camper and don't venture too far from home base enough.  The service guy at my dealer has an older one and he loves it.  My cousin(mechanic) is on the hunt for an older Rockwood.

Enjoy the good times on the road!

That's hilarious you noticed that.  I went way overboard with the first aid thing. That's not even all of them. My wife has been giving me chit ever since. I guess it's the boy scout in me, Be Prepared.

For cooking, I don't know how I can bring my small egg unless I figure out a way to store it. The only option I can really think of is getting one of those Trailer hitch cart things. Then I could throw a cooler and the small egg on it. But that's just asking to get stolen. A nice cooler and a green egg is a lot of temptation.

It took alot of self-evaluation.  Like you, I will be a proud motorhome owner, it will be towards the end of my working career as a traveler nurse.  At least that is the current future plans. =)

My brother puts his deer on one of those with the 4Runner.  An egg and cooler should be no problem, just strap them in tight for the ride.

I assumed you were going to figure out a way to hitch mount the Blackstone

I'm sure you can figure out a way to transport the small egg.  It looks like the small might fit in the tall storage compartment.

    That is REALLY nice- Congrats!

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I think the 28" Blackstone may fit in the under storage. Does it has a slide out tray in the storage bay?

For a griddle I plan to grab a Discada. Easy to store, extremely versatile and just cool.  But I want to be able to low and slow too. I'll probably just grab the Egg and Carten for those trips and leave the discada and a smokey joe jr weber kettle in the RV at all times.

@hotch No slideouts in the storage area, but I may build one to make it work.

that's very cool.  not sure I'm counting correctly - but it looks like that sleeps at least 5, maybe six?  I like the layout and the retro-ness of it, you'll definitely have fun with it.

There are 5 separate sleeping beds (1 of which is really just for kids)  And of those 5 beds, 3 can sleep a couple.

So, if you were really hard up for sleeping quarters - I figure you could sleep 7 Adults and 2 kids. with no one on the floor.

We will carry at the most another couple and their kids. And most of that time the kids will tent camp just outside the camper.
