any Zydeco fans here? Especially the late Clifton Chenier?

Maybe it's because I first heard Zydeco late in my life, but that music always gets me movin and jumpin. Since Clifton has been dead for 28 years now are there some other artists that Zydeco fans recommend? Thanks!

I had to google it. I didn't know what Zydeco was. Thought it might be a cut of meat from a exotic animal. With that said, Zydeco is not one of my favorites

I saw Buckwheat Zydeco at a festival years ago.  I remember saying something like "This accordion $h!t ain't bad.  Then again, I'm pretty hammered."

I've got Kermit Ruffins, Rebirth Brass Band, Treme Brass Band, Tab Benoit, Dr John, Warren Haynes, The Wild Tchoupitoulas, and other Cajun/Creole folks on my phone regularly playing....  Not exactly Zydeco, but they are close neighbors!

Oh, Yeah. Clifton was great. Dated a girl for awhile who lived around where he played, so we did lots of dancin' to his music.
