Warning griddle owners, this thread may cost you $$$$
I have been bit hard and I'm gearing up to so I can put in some work on my griddle! Still need a few more turners, especially an oversized one for smashing burgers.
I'm pretty excited about the butter roller and the batter dispenser!

I came through the ranks as a fry cook. This was the hottest sweaty job there was in the kitchen. I thought the dishwasher was the only guy that looked up to us. F'ing burger king & then Eduardo's in chi town, red lobster, mc-fing-donalds & irish lion in btown, IN, etc etc... you name it.
I became a waiter to avoid this crap. Then, I went to college to further avoid this.
Why, I ask with all my heart, do I want to buy this stuff, you evil bastard. Why? ! (Looks f'ing fantastic, btw)
Ps, I just cooked for 4 hours on my mini max for all my camp friends at garner state park. No pics of the cooks, just great friends, great times.

I need a restraunt supply store near me. How many sticks of butter does the butter roller take? I feel like I would end up wasting a lot of butter. I still want one.1 large BGE, Spartanburg SC

The batter dispenser looks exactly like what I use to separate the fat out of my drippings when I want to use them for a sauce. That's a whole lot of new toys to play around with.

I ended up with this one for burger shaping/smashing - a bit larger than I wanted at 1/3 pound burgers, but works well:

Thought I would just add on to this thread instead of making a new one.
Ordered more toys for the griddle. I got the pancake batter dispenser that is pictured here. I also picked up the 36" Blackstone griddle bag and the grill top. I plan on taking this camping with me twice a year. Figured it would be easier to just haul this instead of both the griddle and the egg.

Only problems I see with just taking the griddle is I won't be able to use the griddle and grill top at the same time if I need to. Also, hopefully the burners don't take too much of a beating. The jury is still out on whether I'll keep the grill top, but I got a camping trip coming up next week so at least if I want it, I'll have it. It would be nice if they came out with a half griddle, half grill set up since it's so big.
-
I know this doesn't compare but I got to use the griddle on our new range for the first time this morning. Gonna need the batter dispenser.
-
@Lit Is that a GE range? My Profile has the same burner and griddle design.
