First food pics - NY steaks!
Been an EggHead for 15 months and been lurking around the forums since then... I have started making a few posts in the last month but haven't posted any food pics yet. 'Till now!
I've always found steaks challenging to get exactly perfect. Finally I'm 2/2 the last two times I've done it with some NY strips from the local market. Did 550-600 degrees on my new cast iron grid for 2+2+3 for my perfect medium steaks. I have the thermometer in my wife's steak to measure the exact point I get it to ruined well done state. Potatoes simmering in onions and butter in the foil wraps.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. Great cook and most eggcellent fork placement (an inside joke as there is a forum member that is not a fan of fork pics...).Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
