I have found a wealth of useful information on these forums. I would like to see the forum upgraded to include more mobile friendly layout, additional sub-forums or categories, and better search options.  A sub-forum I think would be beneficial to user would be Lump Charcoal. I recently searched for some tips and suggestions and found it difficult filtering out the non-relative posts. Being a newb, I didn't want to start an online argument about is someone's best lump just by asking for advice. I more interested in going to one place and finding the answer I need.

Good ideas, but we are lucky the forum owner has managed to keep us able to post at all.

 Not intending to cut on your post, just laying my thoughts out here.....I like using the search function here because I find so many rabbit holes to run down while searching for a specific bit of info. Also, I learn so much more "out of the box" information by skimming through the many related posts that come up when searching. 

Now if I am in an emergency and need info really fast...I can post a question and get an answer within a few minutes most of the time.

I love my forum !!!!

If the forum were compatible with Tapatalk, that could be a good solution for you. I use Tapatalk as a mobile forum interface for the other forums I participate in.

And maybe we could have a section for threads about accessories, to save on the butthurt when those are posted... anywhere...!

A better search function, but then this forum is kinda the wild west of forums - which makes it as great as it is. 
We, the users need to excercise a bit more control on where we put stuff as well. Check the threads that come up under Egghead forum, you will see threads that should have been under Beef, Off Topic, Seafood etc... I wonder if that helps the search?
