OT - How far away is your BGE dealer?

I bought my Egg from the Outdoor Kitchen Store here in Tampa. It's 0.8 miles away, but only because I have to make U-turn to get on the other side of the median. They're great folks, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Everything you want out of a local merchant.

How close or far away is yours?

0.9 miles away, but I didnt purchase them there - they have took care of my warranty claims with no issues.

I just moved closer too.

Closest dealer is just under 1 mile.  Dealer I use is 11 miles.

Closest 3 miles, my dealer 25 minutes. I don't bother even stopping by other dealer. They don't know anything. One salesman even tried to talk me into a gasser. He said the egg was very complicated to learn how to cook on. All I needed was a bag of charcoal but I left and thanked him for letting me know.

Closest 1 mile. Where I bought it 20. We have 2 in town now, the one cooking store just became a dealer about a month ago. Neither of the ones in town carry much other than BGE branded merch, so a lot of my shopping is online or BBQ store in STL.

11 miles, up in the burbs.  Actually biked up there this weekend -- it was my first time at the shop, since I had the XL delivered when I bought it from them.

There's a local hardware store that sells BGE, but I drive past it to get to the dealer that is one of two cooking dealers in the country. 6 miles.

Bought mine about 5 miles, or ten minutes away. Seem like nice folks, will find out after I take delivery and start to need accessories and have questions.

I live in Oldsmar and go to that store often also.   If your in Tampa try the Green Egg store on Kennedy. He claims to be the biggest dealer in town therefore his prices are a bit cheaper.

Not that far, but PITA to get to for me.  I've been there 3x, once to check out the eggs and primos, once to buy the egg, once to pick up a pizza stone.

Mine is a mile away. I live in a tiny town where there is nothing, but we do have an egg dealer!

The one I was referring to is on Kennedy... between Lois & Dale Mabry. That's where I got my Egg. They're good folks and always remember my name when I visit (though I don't know if that's good or bad). Is that the one you mean?

I live in South Tampa & work in Clearwater, so I drive through Oldsmar daily.

Yes, that is the one.  I am in Oldsmar and work in Tampa near Dale Mabry and Himes.

Awesome. Yep, I don't bother pricing lump or accessories if it's something they carry. I don't mind spending my money there. Keeps it local, and they're nice folks.
