    I'm a bit anal, so I did the research. Several hours on google, youtube, and several discussions with serious "smoker" friends, and I ended up with an XL Big Green Egg. First test was burgers on the grill to help "season" the grill.  Next was a brisket (good, but not great - but that was on me, not he BGE). Last weekend made three 7 lb. pork butts after purchasing the BBQ Guru DX2...... WOW, turned out amazing!!!! Can't wait for the next "smoke".  The BGE will not let you down. As a smoker, it rocks.....but it's not a one trick pony, and that also is awesome!
