Hello from England. I'm a new Egg owner here in the UK. Brilliant forum, everyone is so supportive. I've done about 6 cooks on the Egg so far and am overwhelmed with how brilliant it is. Are people interested to see an Englishman attempting to create amazing American style BBQ?

Are you kidding? We're all willing to watch ANYone create BBQ! At least, I know I am for sure. By the way, I was in the UK this past Spring visiting my daughter who was on a Study Abroad semester. Had the time of our lives over there. My daughter was at Leeds University, so we saw Leeds, London and a couple days in Scotland. Being a Scotch guy, I HAD to divert to Scotland and visit some distilleries (Laphroig and Lagavulin, both in Islay). What a beautiful country!

Welcome to you. Where in England are you located? My sister-in-law has lived there for close to 20 years, we've visited several times and always loved it.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -
Welcome to The BGE MACHINE! I will look forward to your posts. I have had the opportunity to spend time in the UK occasionally with work. I have worked / stayed in London, Oxford, and Gaydon.
This forum is a fun place for help and information on all things BGE. Have fun, enjoy the ride. The cost to join, is nothing, compared to the cost to stay in."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Welcome to the forum and the lifestyle! Definitely interested in seeing what BBQ from across the pond looks like.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

Wow, what a friendly bunch of people! I look forward to posting my efforts. I do good old down and dirty food, but also have a side line in "posh" food so will post everything I do on the Egg. I'm from Northamptonshire, which is right in the middle of the UK. Lots of good organic farms and butchers so we have good produce.
- Eaglelll, we are spending 2 weeks in Scotland in August and plan to visit a distillery or two, we'll tell the kids that they are chocolate factories or something to get them through the door!!

Welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. All are welcome here. To the extent you can, be patient with jumping into the accessorizing after-market place.
