Today my son and wife surprised me with some great Father's Day gifts and a sweet card from my 6 year old son.  I feel blessed to have them both.  I was planning on doing at Chuck roast like burnt ends, but we are getting rain right now so I may try out my old wok on the egg if it stops tonight.  We went to Granite City for brunch at 9 am and now are chilling for now.

Thank you.  I was most excited about the card from my son and the Royals cup.  My son wants one for all of us now, even the dog.  I had a great time yesterday and I hope all the other father's did too.  The rain kind of killed the mod to grill, so the wife made spaghetti after I went shopping for the ingredients.  At least the sun came out late and the kid and I went to the pool for a while to give his mom some space.

In spite of the rain sounds like you had a great day! Enjoy them... they don't stay six forever.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.
