Wanted something a lil different so why some not some Japanese Chicken.
I marinated the thigh cubes in Miran Sake,Soy,Honey and garlic for about 45min. Same with the zuke slices. Then on the egg @550 raised direct.

And plated with some rice.

Man, that looks really delicious! I have to watch soy (sodium), but I think this is doable. What's separating the chicken pieces, scallions?

You are correct on the scallions. I use a low sodium & gluten free soy sauce.  You might check into it

That's a solid easy cook. Well done and thanks for sharing.

For the lighter side of sodium that is the best I've found around here.  Do you know of a better tasting low sodium one that you could share?

I've never seen that brand. How much sodium? have an Asian market that's about 15 miles away that carries brands no Kroger, HEB or Piggly Wiggly shopper has ever seen. :) The last bottle I got was "Aged Kimlan Soy Sauce" from Taiwan. 733 mg of sodium per Tbls. Couple hundred mg less than I usually see, but still way too high. I don't use it often.

Just looked up Tamari and it's a tad less than my Kimlan. 233 mg/tsp which is 699 per Tbls. Mine is 733/T. You win, but not by much. :) Either way, it's still a BUNCH of salt!

Thanks, Logchief. I didn't realize that Kikkoman had a product that was that low. The old bottle of their hi-test I still have has nearly 1000 mg! Don't know why I still have it cuz I sure don't use it any more!
