First crack at beef ribs
My first attempt at beef ribs. The photo doesn't do em justice, tasted better than they looked. Rubbed w/ salt, pepper, & onion and garlic powders. Cooked 5 hours @ 230 with oak and hickory. Smoked for 2 hours and then covered and braised the rest of the time in cola and more rub. Falling of the bone goodness! Also, first cook with my new kick ash basket. <br>
LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.

Glad they turned out - they sure look good. Maybe I'll try them again.
Whenever I do beef ribs, I always end up thinking "why didn't I just do pork ribs??"

Looks great! Did you cut them into individual bones before cooking? I find keep the rack together retains moisture, but it's probably all in my head.Ajax, ON Canada(XL BGE, MED BGE, La Caja China #2, and the wife's Napoleon gasser)
