I remembered I had this accessory for 'the big easy' Turkey fryer I bought a few years ago. (Hasn't been used in years, but it was great when I needed it)

I took the 'arms' off and it looks like a perfect way to raise my grid enough to get it over the felt line. There are certainly better options, but for $15 this is a pretty great solution.

Get yourself the two pack of 8" pizza stones and place one on the original grid and you can do an indirect cook. These stones will go from ambient temp (80-something) to a 900° egg without a whimper. Only did that once (to salvage a pizza), but it worked!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

@mrw123- That is actually a great idea and use for the rack. For 15 bucks, it's hard to beat for sure.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.
