Thanks for the warm welcome, all. For what it's worth, the guy sounds like a stand-up guy and I fully expect that my kidneys will remain intact. T-minus 24 hours until the new egg comes home to nest! Will post photos later this weekend.

Turns out it was a medium, not a large. In fairly decent shape. Cracked firebox, but everything else in good working order. Came back with all limbs and organs accounted for! XL BGE, M BGE
