First Reverse Sear
trying the reverse sear for the first time for
Mother's Day. Planning to go indirect at ~275 and pull at IT 115, then sear to perfection. im going to use 1.5" thick ribeyes.
Any first time tips? Also, approx how long does the indirect part take?

Good luck - I think you'll be happy with the results. It's hard to go wrong when you're starting with thick ribeyes.
I'd guess 20-30 min for the indirect time."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike -
Trying doing the sear in a CI pan. Make sure and dab the steaks with some paper towel first. You won't regret it. 650° for 45 seconds per side. Gives them an incredible crust.GWN
