So, my wife brings home these skinny a$$ chops (need to work on her meat selection, but that's a different story). Can't stuff these little buggers, so let's throw a crust on them! Never done that before so make it up.
Egg at 350ish raised direct till IT 145-150 seasoned with oak ridge chicken and game bird. Onto the foil and add cheese crumbles, crushed pistachios and some dried cranberries that I ran a knife through. Tried to melt the cheese with a torch, only so so. Didn't measure a damn thing.
Plated with itch green beans and grilled corn.
Crappy cell Pics as as vanilla sees fit. Thanks.

@grege345 thanks, but I wouldn't go that far! It was tasty, but would like a little more melt on the cheese. Weed torch mY not have been the best tool for the job! -

If you can think of a way to get good melt on blue cheese, please share. I crumble on steaks often, and never get much melt. Although it does get descent if I take the time to crumble it a lot.LBGE (2012), MiniMax (2014), and too many Eggcessories to list. - Sudbury, Ontario

@Greeno55 yeah, it's not very meaty, but the flavor is a nice compliment to the salty and tangy.

However since you are one of my favorites, I will pass on the jokes and get straight to the point. The grub looks excellent as always my friend. Enjoy.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Love you bro! -
Getting pretty uppity for mountain folk......moldy cheese, old fruit and nuts on pig??? You been watchin too much Emeril son.
All kidding aside, that really looks good!! Definitely put thought into that cook. When I want to get a good melt on cheese I drop it under a broiler for 60-90 seconds.
