hi has anyone a recipe for lamb kleftiko on the big green egg

Sorry brother, it's something I have always wanted to make but haven't as of yet. Hoping that someone will post a killer recipe as well. Good luck and look forward to seeing yours.

I would use my basic boneless leg recipe or substitute shanks and place the potatoes/veggies in a heavy pan, seasonings some wine, perhaps a DO cover it and cook indirect 225-250 for 4-6 hours depending on size leg/shanks. pull around 140-145F. Hope this helps.

Here is a shank recipe some friends do and it is easily adapted for the egg.Lamb, ShanksINGREDIENTS:6 Lamb Shanks, Cut into 2 inch Pieces1 Can Tomatoe Sauce1 Can Italian Crushed Tomatoes2 Cans WaterBayLeafGarlic, CrushedSalt/Pepper to tasteCream SherryRosemary or BasilProcedure:1. Braise shanks, add other ingredients, Bake at 350°F until falling off bone. About 1 hour. Serve over rice and top with gravy.Recipe Type: Main Dish, MeatSourceSource: **** Svelta, 2006/06/06 -
