Welcome! That's a nice fireproof setup.

Looks nice. Did you form your own countertop?XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

What kind of cement did you use to make the top? I was thinking along those lines and got BEWILDERED by the different 'mixes'.
Also, would it be strong enough when placed on 2x4 stringers to support the full weight of an XL BGE?
Did you pour the top IN PLACE or make a form, pour / fnish than flip it while mounting on the rest of the table?
I'll trade photographic help for table building help! -
That is a nice set-up!Henderson TN. 1 large BGE, 1 Webber Gasser (recently seems to have converted into a warming oven)

Thanks guys, I used Quikrete Countertop mix and poured it in place. If I had to do it over I would make templates out of cardboard and pour it in a form. I used 2 4x4 to support the egg and steel studs for the frame.

I really like the masonry and concrete cook areas. Are you using a laminate product? Also, I would like to see the rest of your design.
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

Wow! And wow again. Solid look. Amazing how lifelike veneer looks these days. Leaps and bounds from the old brick veneer that was in my Grandparents kitchen on the walls (guessing they had it installed circa 1960s).LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
