Beer Can Mushroom Burger

Lots of talk about "beer can burgers" on the facebook, so I gave it a try. Took some local grass fed beef, hollowed it out, and filled it with some sauteed onion and local Shiitake and brown mushrooms, a little Swiss on the bottom and Cheddar on top, and on the Mini... 

 

Plated with a local hothouse heirloom tomato Caprese Salad on the side. That's a mighty fine dinner

Great looking burger my friend. Way to put the mini to good use as well. Burgers is one of my favorite things to eat and to cook on the mini. Awesome job.

I believe you use the beer can to press into the burger to hollow it out.

that just doesn't look like a burger to me. but it does look good.

Looks really good.  I think I'll adapt to a family sized meatloaf-type meal.
