Double Egg Table finished

So I finished my egg table! I've never done anything like this before and have to say it was a blast. I've heard members say that no matter how it turns out you will be glad you did it yourself and that is so true. This is red cedar that I got from a friend who owns a sawmill. Put it together with pocket-hole screws. Total cost after spar urethane, fire bricks, Kregg screws an 1Longhorn bottle opener under $100.00.

Thats insane, love the table, I just did a second one this past weekend, but just used regular spruce that I had in the garage to keep cost down, and my table all in was still probably 100 bucks. Could spend a bunch on it. Maybe down the road if I have to rebuild them or change them up I will spend some on nicer wood. Your lucky there, nice work.

I made two with the pecky cypress and my buddy made one with heart pine in my shop.  3 years on the first table and it still looks great.

Thanks @nolaegghead my friend is going to buy an xxl so hopefully he will get on here soon. He is already planning his table using reclaimed barnwood, I'm excited to see what he does he's crazy good at that stuff.

Thanks @tfhanson , @AlbertaEgger I forgot about the nest and those stupid paint brushes so it was a little more then that but still cheap. Having never done this I prob would have made this out of a cheaper wood the first time.

Beautiful table.  But wait, is that a slide attached to the deck thru the railing?! If so, that's the best thing I've seen today!

@YEMTrey thanks and yes it's a slide, I took out a couple pickets and bolted the slide off the deck it's a big hit with the kids.
