Butt Diplomacy

I haven't always seen eye-to-eye with the next-door-neighbor. We have kind of been tolerating each other for 15 years. Yesterday in the middle of replacing the steering shaft on my Ingersoll tractor, he showed up and helped. A lot. All afternoon we wrenched and hammered and tipped the tractor on its side and finally got the broken-gear old one out and got the new one installed and that 20 year old tractor handles like a Ferrari now. Turns out his kids are coming for dinner today and I had a Costco butt pack in the fridge to feed my family of 4. Despite his son in law being clueless about the "big green golf ball" BGE in my driveway, I am able to repay his help by providing a BBQ feast for his family tonight. If we continue to get along, I'm submitting the entire episode to my congressman as an example of diplomacy.
