Texas Style table in Canada

Hey guys here are some pics of my table I just finished! What a blast! Started in beginning of Feb in -30 weather… and finished it a little under 2 months.

Huge thanks to you all on the forum for answering some of my questions and making this plan come alive!!! Loving it!

Looks excellent!  Your end "caps" on the top are going to be a stable length while the middle wood will expand and contract with humidity and temperature, that's the only thing I'd do different.
This is my signature line just so you're not confused.  Love me or hate me, I am forum Marmite.

That table is almost exactly like the one I'm building right now for my XL.  Your craftsmanship is way better than mine though.  I don't have the patience for pocket screws and gluing the top together.  Nicely done.

Do you have any pictures of your process for making that drawer?  I was thinking about making one for my table but I don't have a dovetail jig.

That's a nice job on a great table design.  I couldn't help but notice the blue Jag XJ6 in the background.  I used to own a 84 model.

Well done, great job. Your deck is going to be demanding the same finish as the new kid, you know....
Like the drawer pull - where are you?

I don't know what's more impressive-- your craftsmanship or the fact your pics posted in order. Great job!

Beautiful table.  I would love one like that.  A storage cabinet is key.
