....Thanks SmokeyPitt
This was the best...chicken Alfredo. The pepperoni was great was well. I did a little better job with the roundness of the dough on that one. Other pic is my Egg's new home.

Nice cooking area you have there.
Large Egg with adjustable rig, Kick Ash Basket, Minimax and various Weber's.

The pies and the outdoor apace both look amazing. I am also digging the giant pepperoni.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Looks great. Nice cooking area. You might want to get a table nest as that granite will get warm and I would be nervous it might crack

Was thinking the same thing as @Brisket_Fanatic, an air gap is your friend and it makes it super simple to rake ash out into a pan.
Egged pizza, always a favourite.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
Love the non-flammable egg area. One caution though... I used to have my egg (in a nest) near the house like that, but that meant that the top vent was pointed at the house whenever the dome was open. This directed the smoke right at the siding and before long I noticed a smoke stain on the house. Mine (painted surface) cleaned up pretty easily and then I relocated my egg. Don't know about cleaning brick. Something to keep an eye on.
Pizza looks great!I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

MaC122..I got the pepperoni from the deli at Kroger.
Thanks for the feedback on the table nest, I will look into it. The guy who did the granite has done several kitchens with eggs and this is the set up he uses.
Thanks CarolinaQ. Also, love the Bourdain quote. He is the man.PROUD MEMBER OF THE WHO DAT NATION! -

With ALL Due respect to what appears to be a terrific cooking area, do you REALLY want your egg sitting directly on GRANITE?
My dealer warned me that I could CRACK the granite in that fashion. True? False? way to UpSell me to one of those little stands? I think I'd LIKE my egg ventilated on the bottom. 1" or maybe less of airspace should be FINE.

RRP, thanks for reposting. I didn't see the earlier post. And don't ever worry about stealing my post, I love the info. That boars head pepperoni is what I used. It's great. I like the side by side pics vs hormel. No comparison. Thanks again.PROUD MEMBER OF THE WHO DAT NATION!

Nice pies and eggdom. After spending all that coin, what's $30 for a nest?
