Just got back for a 5 night stay in Punta Cana and it was a much needed vaca for me and even more so my wife. Weather was great and the food was way better than we had ever had from any resort style vacation we have ever done. You know I had to take pics.

The chefs didn't cook to any kinda of temp but even though the beef looked over cooked it was some of the best beef I've ever had.

First night Mrs 3969 had a bone in ribeye

And I had what they called a fillet

No sliced pics but you'll just have to trust that it was good. And for dessert it was Creme Brûlée

Next night we had a Seared Tuna Salad that was excellent.  Even had the right color.

One other night I had what actually looked like a fillet mignon and the texture was incredible

I was very surprised at how nice and tender the steaks were since they were cooked way past what I call medium. These guys must have special cows!!!

The last pic is just what I thought was a cool ocean shot from the plane just past the Bahamas
