Do you have to have tickets in advance? At this point I do not know if my husband and I are going. Is there a place where members of the forum will meet and greet?

I'm not sure if you have to buy in advanced but I'm sure if it isn't sold out you can get them at door. There is a meet and greet on Friday night.

I am going to try to make it this year! My anniversary is the 22nd so I have to plan around that. The wife and I usually spend a weekends somewhere and it may need to be this weekend. (No...I can't convince the eggfest to count as our anniversary weekend
).
@LadyGT - If I recall correctly you have to buy them ahead of time.

You can get tickets that sat. Am. he has an informal gathering on Thurs night and a free meet n greet on Friday night. everybody brings a dish and it is a great relaxing time. One of the best fest you will ever go to.

I'm considering going. My only hesitation is work. I have to work 3 weekend days per month and I have a lot of my daughter's soccer to do on the other weekends in May. It just depends on how my 28-day month cycles through.

We're camping at the park there where it is held. There is a Holiday in and a few resorts to choose from.

@Mickey Thanks for the compliment. My wife Shelly (Honey) and I would be honored to come down. If you want to do a Taco test drive before your Florida trip give me a call. If we can fit it in we will be more than happy to. Most of the prep can be done prior to getting on the road.Mickey said:

We rented a vacation home. It was less than most hotels. Mr. Claus just do Google search for vacation homes in Hiawassee GA.

@Hotch+1 on the vacation home. We rented a place that sleeps 10 for 150 a night. Divided by 3 couples...that's a sweet deal, with a killer view. The only negative, it is 10 min away from the fairgrounds.
