    I have a buddy from dental school who happens to live in Harrison, AR which is about 30 min down the road from Yellville. We were texting trash talk back and forth during the Tennessee Arkansas basketball game last night and I just asked him if he knew anything about the company shutting down. 

    Well he called me back this morning. After asking around he was told they had been dealing with the EPA over putting scrubbers on their smoke stacks and just decided to shut down. He didn't know anything about BGE or anyone else buying them out or not.

    Anyway he said he found 50 bags for $6 each so I told him to buy it all. Now I have decent excuse to drive over for a golf weekend and pick up some lump.

    @Walt2015 I usually take the northern route through Dyersburg,TN since its a bit quicker. I may come back through Memphis though, I'll let you know. Possibly the 22nd or 29th

    I'll  be driving thru Harrison if you want me to stop and pick up the charcoal for you. I can bring it right to your front door. Free of charge, really! All I need is the address of where it is stored and when they will be home.

    Just tell them to leave the key under the mat by the back door.

    yeah, I don't know how accurate that is but that's what he was told. The guy said they have been "in trouble" with the EPA for several years, whatever that means.

    Yep.  I dropped a business arm myself because of the EPA.  At least a half dozen American jobs lost.  Thanks EPA.

    It means that too many liberals/progressives are using any excuse possible to tell us what to do and have been put into power by sheeple who have no real grey matter in their head - and the sheeple keep voting for them. They want to tell you when to do it - and the sheeple keep voting for them , what we can buy - and the sheeple keep voting for them  and cannot buy - and the sheeple keep voting for them. ... In the NE (PA iirc) there was a story about the idiots wanting to ban wood stoves used for heating a LOT of houses all across the country.  And the sheeple keep voting for them.  The tragedy is that when the taxes are now over-burdensome they can't for the life of themselves figure out why.  And the sheeple keep voting for them. Next is your BGE.  Keeping all of this in mind, next time, THINK before you vote.
