    @nolaegghead , It's just as fun shooting skip on 11 meter sideband, no lic necessary, talked to a guy in Italy and Australia, and Hawaii on the regular, good times. Used to modify, and make my own linear amps, antennas, great hobby.

    Same here, N2ZKB here. And I also let my license lapse. Kind of pissed I did considering its $10 for 10 years... Kind of makes me want to start over to see if I still can without studying.

    @DMW - I did a quick search to see if I could pay a fine or something and get it back, then my interwebz locked up.  I'll do that when I think about it next.  Cool that you got yours.  KD5EVA out.

    I have a dual band with manbearcave spooge covering it.  Might still work.  Never got into the long wavelength, bounce of the ionosphere or whatever stuff.  But it would be cool to try to hook up.  I could piss of the historic district and put up a 50 foot tower.  Anyway, will let ya know.

    @Thumper169 I'm very sad to hear this.  The cutting board gesture/activity pales in comparison to the loss of a loved one.  Take all the time you need and then some.

     Sorry again guys for the delay, as often times happens one death is soon followed by a second and they were back to back for us turning us upside down.  I'm back to getting everything rolling again so were good. Everyone has been contacted and taken care of.  
     
       Hug your loved ones a little tighter today as tomorrow with them isn't guaranteed deal.
