Having been a regular reader of this forum for over five years and the owner of a large big green egg for four and a half, I decided to join the forum.....mainly to just say a great big THANK YOU to the members because:
  • Most of what I know about cooking on the egg I learned from you on this forum: from low and slow cooks, to meatloaf, to seafood, to grid extenders, to swing racks, to temp controllers, to veggies, to rubs, etc.etc.etc.
  • This forum is also more entertaining than reading the daily news.  I've never met anyone from this forum, but feel as if you are my next door neighbors.
  • I know that no matter what I might contribute, I'll always be one who gets more from the forum than what I put in...so the least I can do is say thanks.
Although I have several friends who have a BGE of some size or another, most really have no clue as to its true capability.  They sometimes ask me for tips.  Believe me I'm no eggspert, and I often get asked, "How'd you know that?"  I have to be honest and tell them that I learned it from the Eggheadforum!

I know as many of you post..."No pics or it didn't happen!"  Believe me, I do well enough to cook much less post a pic.  Tried to post pics on a camping forum years ago and decided I'm picture posting challenged.

With all that said, "Thanks again for all the advice, support, humor, etc.".

Happy Egging!

Welcome.  For the life of me I can't post pics from the computer.  From the phone they pass as pics. That will have to do.  I agree, hope to see some food.

Welcome! I was pic challenged on this forum too. I just commented on another thread and did a simple copy/paste and it worked.
