Made some Jell-O shots for our pool party tomorrow and jumped the fence and taped off our area. Also wired up my daughter powerwheels to double the v and sped it up quite a bit. She smiled for 45 minutes straight flying around the cul de sac.

Brisket finished way earlier than anticipated. 8.5hrs on a trimmed 15lber. Food isn't served until 4 so I've got it in the oven wrapped holding at 150F.

@DoubleEgger - What a great reveille present right there. Looking great. Fast cook for sure-but up in the dome does speed 'em up. And I'm with you-brisket over butt. Preserve that bark. No doubt a drip pan full of renderings. Enjoy the follow-on eats.

Something to consider-cut a notch perpendicular to the flat grain run on the end of the flat. That way you know the direction to slice on demand once you create the meteorite. Camping in Tennessee. Big old rain shower rolled through as I began egging. After the storm quit a neighbor came by an said I was crazy for grilling in a thunderstorm! He's obviously a gas griller.
I mean I even moved the egg under the awning?!

Just got home from getting some CE . Took the afternoons to relax . Spent one afternoon fishing (limited).. Next afternoon went to a Lego exhibit of all things.
Next spent the other 2 afternoons swimming and soaking up some sun

Just got in from the last show of The Joshua Tree tour in the USA. Far better should than any of the previous ones we had seen. Perhaps the best U2 concert I had ever been to.
