@Lit - from the video, seems like you could pierce their nipples with the new one. You could make some cash on the side.

I have the original.  I love it, but it could definitely use more power.  Sometimes the flies are just knocked unconscious, and require multiple shots.  I'd prefer to blow their wings clean off from the get-go.

We get box elder bugs. The original doesn't phase them. The salt bounces off. A little disappointing for sure.

After you've salted your fly, I recommend raised indirect - 160f with the probe in the fattest part of the abdomen.
