PBR newbie

No egging for a month, left last weekend for a trip to Hong Kong, China and India, of all places had my first taste of PBR at a nondescript restaurant in my father's ancestral village in southern China. Not a big beer drinker but love it.

Unless the beer you had in China said made in USA, it may not be the hipster Blue Ribbon of America. It may be a much better beer. Saw this in the eater some time ago.

PBR has always been considered swill in my parts, pretty much on the level with OV and labatts 50.

I've met some locals who claimed to work at the local PBR brewery before it shut down

Knowing them I would be interested to hear their view on PBR in China.
