2015's First Cook...

First time firing the egg in 2015... It's a prep cook for the week ahead, chicken and a pork loin. Heading back to work after basically the last 2 weeks off is gonna be rough LOL... They certainly aren't taking their foot off the gas with expectations...

Some pics to follow.... Using @MeatChurch‌ rubs and going just with Ozark Oak, no smoke wood.

Yep tomorrow first day back to school for the kids and first full work week since before thanksgiving. Probably the worst Monday of the year. Happy New year hap. Can't wait to see this evenings cook.
I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.

Sounds like it might have been good...  :-?? :D

And on the going back to work, yep, my first day back today as well. And we are having a cold snap. I work inside, but I'm still depressed about it after spending last week in Florida.

Deleting pics is a better faux pas than my forgotting to get chicken in time to cook yesterday. Not a good start to my "Drop 15 in '15" campaign but I'll get there (I hope).

Bummer that you deleted the pics.

Today was my first day back after having a month off. It was touch leaving the Mrs and lil Duke. Now that my break is over, I'll get back to reading the forum and posting some cooks. Salmon tonight for a healthy dinner.

This made me laugh John, but it might be confusing to people in certain states (you know who you are).
