Beer Brats First time on egg

I decided to give brats a go tonight.  I'm lucky enough to have a German sausage maker close to my home (Binkert's in Rosedale, MD.) I purchased some fresh Bratwurst and prepped the egg. I picked up some St. Pauli Girl and onions, getting both into the cast iron skillet.  Parboiled the brats and onions at about 400f direct for about 20 mins, then added my grill extender and transferred the brats.  Drained a bit of beer from the onions, and added a cast iron fajita pan(all I had lol) with sauerkraut.  Wanted so bad to put the kraut in with the onions, but the kids wouldn't touch the brats if I did. Cooked the brats to 170f and brought the egg up to high temp for a quick 90sec sear.  Best I've had so far!  Very tasty, and everyone loved them.
