Turkey pot pie with leftovers

I did a turkey for the first time on the egg for thanksgiving, it was incredible. Smoky, juicy, perfect. I unfortunately didn't take pictures of it but I did enjoy it. We also deep fried a turkey an everyone liked the smoked turkey better. After a few days we are getting sick of leftovers but I decided to make a pot pie today. Just a basic crust filled with carrots, onions, celery and turkey. I think next time I will add some cubed potatoes. The sauce was a simple white sauce with salt and pepper, and a little Cajun seasoning for a small kick. After I assembled it I put on a egg wash and baked in the egg for 40 min at around 375 deg.

pie looks really good. Been considering the same. Guess i should get on the stick before the leftovers go rogue.

I love pot pies, wish I could convince SWMBO to like them.  What kind of bike is that?

Looks like a winner to me. I love all sorts of pot pies myself. Awesome job :)>-

Thanks everyone, I love to make pies.  I really like a pot pie with elk, it has a rich flavor that is just great in a pie.  Turkey is OK, I think the smoke flavor really adds a lot to an otherwise fairly bland taste.

@nolaegghead  Its a Ducati Hypermotard 821.  I can honestly say it's the most fun thing I have ever purchased.  I laugh every time I ride it.
