Free Mini

My buddy got a free Mini for a promo at work and just gave it to me. It is still new in the box. I can't wait to get home and surprise the wife with it, she has been wanting me to get one because she thinks they are cute! I got skunked hunting this weekend, again but this turned my mood around! Any ideas what my first cook should be?

If I could, I noticed a light hanging from your LG. Would that be a Weber light that you modified to attach to the LG? I'd like to do something like that. Would you have a close up of your light?

@Durangler‌ no it is a BGE light that ai picked up at my local dealer. It attaches directly to the accessory holes on the band. I think it was like $35. It is very handy

I wish I had friends as lucky and kind as yours. Make sure you treat him well (both the friend and the mini).

The only problem with cooking for him is he may decide the food is so good, he wants it back. >:)

Well SWMBO wanted chicken so we threw on 3 breast (one fo my father-in-law) for the first meal on the mini. I put some garlic expressions on them and coated them with a little Red Eye Express and some Raging River. Took them off at 167 IT. They turned out great.
