Just got this skillet from my FIL. It belonged to his mother who passed last year at the age of 96. She was a good ole southern country cook. She had one son who married an only child and they had one child, my wife. Do the math, small family. Regardless, she cooked for an army every Sunday and we had lunch there every week as did many other folks before I came along. The woman loved to cook and loved for you to eat her cooking even more. One of the first things she asked anyone who darkened her door was, "Have you eaten?" Every time.

Having said all that, I'd like to know if anyone can ID this skillet. I will put it to good use and I hope people enjoy what I cook in it as much as they did what she cooked. Thanks in advance.

The only marking that I can find is the 8? on the bottom.image
